Please find attached to this update our Annual Report 2022, this update includes highlights on the developments and performance of SBC Bold Action 2224 B.V. as well as on the individual startups.

The SBC Bold Action 2224 program started in 2022 and has the purpose of investing in ventures that operate in the impact space. Around 8 months after it started, we have added 10(/90) companies so far that - under the leadership of their amazing founders - are steadily progressing.

In 2023, the second year of the program will add 30 startups to the portfolio, bringing the total number to 40 startups.

In the coming months, we’ll send you more updates regarding the status of the invested startups, the new investments and overall financials of SBC Bold Action 2224 B.V..

Together, we are continuously raising the bar for accelerators, creating one of the most impactful support systems for entrepreneurs around the world.

Official Announcement of Startupbootcamp Bold Action (Renewable Energy & Net-Zero) Cohort I

Startupbootcamp, Europe’s largest startup accelerator, just revealed the 10 startups that will participate in the first cycle of its Renewable Energy & Net-Zero Program in Amsterdam, which is part of the Bold Action portfolio.

The Renewable Energy & Net-Zero Program in Amsterdam has been created to support solutions that advance the energy transition, including those that tackle the challenges of scaling and storing renewable energy, battery technologies, grid balancing, and improving the overall value chain.

Over 2,000 applicants applied for a chance to participate in the program, from which 20 teams were selected for the final Selection Days event. The teams were given the opportunity to present their concepts to a tailored panel of investors, industry leaders, mentors, partners, and the Startupbootcamp team during a three-day digital event.

After concluding the third day, ten startups were chosen to join the program and Startupbootcamp's Bold Action investment portfolio. Hereunder is an overview of the selected startups:

Powerfull - Helping households and businesses reduce energy cost using smart devices
FlexThor - Helping Battery owners reduce energy cost using smart devices
Tribes Capital - P2P impact investing platform for SMEs to scale access to renewable energy utility solutions
Hexergy - Flexible blockchain platform for energy communities
HODLNG - Generating transparent, traceable and secure data for LNG buyers and sellers
Rongo Design - Next-gen materials for circular living, all made from agricultural waste
Quadloop - Utilizing Africa's electronic waste stream
Revive - Regenerating and optimizing the performance of batteries
Oinride - Unlocking the power of safe, smart and efficient mining
EPI Greenvision - CO2 caption and valorization with biofuel technologies

The program offers extensive support in establishing a thriving business, encompassing all aspects, from developing a product to securing funding. Participants will benefit from the wisdom of seasoned industry mentors, expand their network, and tap into a group of potential investors. This program equips startups with the tools necessary to accomplish their objectives, grow, and realize their full potential.

The end of the program is marked by Impact Day, the final event where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to a tailored audience of mentors, partners, and investors.

Official Announcement of Startupbootcamp Bold Action (Inclusive Fintech & DeFi) Cohort I

Startupbootcamp, Europe’s largest startup accelerator, announces 11 teams that will participate in the first cycle of its Inclusive Fintech & DeFi Program, which is part of the Bold Action portfolio.

Via the Inclusive Fintech & DeFi Program, Startupbootcamp and its co-investors invest in startups that enhance accessibility and inclusivity in the financial industry, as well as decentralized financial solutions.

The 20 teams selected to participate in the Selection Days event were chosen from a highly competitive pool of over 3,000 applicants. These teams had the opportunity to present their ideas to a distinguished panel of investors, industry leaders, mentors, partners, and the Startupbootcamp team during a 3-day digital event.
After concluding the third day, eleven startups were chosen to join the program and Startupbootcamp's Bold Action investment portfolio. Hereunder is an overview of the selected startups:

The program will provide guidance on every aspect of efficient business building, from product development to fundraising. During the program, the startups are provided with direct access to mentors who have decades of experience in their industries, a network of potential partners, and access to a pool of investors relevant to their specific business case.

The end of the program is marked by Impact Day, the final event where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to a tailored audience of mentors, partners, and investors.

Extension Subscription Period Bold Action Tranche 3

Dear shareholders,

We hope you had nice holidays and are looking forward to an exciting and successful 2023.

With this post, we would like to inform you that we will extend the subscription period for Bold Action Tranche 3 from Jan 1st until March 31st. As most of you know, the onboarding process can take up some time, and - with the holidays in between - some newer investors have asked us for the flexibility to exercise this process over Q1’23.

We carefully assessed the consequences this might have and it is important to note that this has NO implications on your investment, returns or equity stake in SBC Bold Action B.V. It simply means that new investors (subscribing on the T3 share price of €10.50,-) have the time to run through and finish process before the official closing and settlement date.

The timelines for Bold Action will remain the same, meaning we will add 20 more startups to the portfolio. These startups will start the accelerator program on March 7th. Official Announcement of Startupbootcamp Bold Action (Mobility & Transportation) Cohort I

Startupbootcamp, one of the world's leading startup accelerators, announced 11 teams that will participate in the first cycle of its Mobility and Transportation Program, which is part of the Bold Action initiative.

Via the Mobility and Transportation Program, Startupbootcamp and its co-investors invest in startups building Connectivity, Smart infrastructure, and Asset Servicification solutions.

The program is tailored to the ever-changing landscape of the mobility and transportation industry, and designed to empower startups and scale-ups who are aiming to disrupt the industry with their solutions.

The selected teams were part of the top 20 teams pitching during a 3-days digital event - Selection Days. From thousands of applications, twenty startups were invited to pitch their idea to investors, industry experts, mentors and partners of Startupbootcamp. After concluding the third day, eleven startups were chosen to join the program and Startupbootcamp’s Bold Action investment portfolio. Hereunder an overview of the selected startups:

Zilch - An e-commerce delivery solution for fast, convenient and affordable fulfillments.
Alamance - Providing real time, hyperlocal solutions to road condition monitoring using IoT & sensor fusion technology.
Gelectric - Providing electrical solutions to vessels to help the maritime industry become more sustainable and greener.
Voyship - A crowd shipping platform that helps travellers to earn more money by helping others to ship products.
Gluebus - Provides bus trips to local night events by leveraging an AI algorithm to plan routes and pool tickets.
Ecobeam - A decentralised P2P platform that helps car owners to earn more money through efficient resource allocation.
Karocharge - An online platform that facilitates the renting of private and public EV chargers.
IndieDrinks Direct - A cloud-based platform that optimizes the supply chain by reducing the number of trucks on the roads.
Sealivery - Sealivery uses geolocation technology to bring people on boats anything that they need at a time that's most convenient to them, preventing lots of back and forth commutes.
Bufaga - A Smart device that can be mounted on any vehicle to help reduce the environmental footprint of company fleets in cities.
Regbes - Autonomous charger units that are located at ports and on ships, focusing on ferries.

The program will provide guidance on every aspect of efficient business building, from product development to fundraising. During the program, the startups are provided with direct access to mentors who have decades of experience in their industries, a network of potential partners, and access to a pool of investors relevant to their specific business case.

The end of the program is marked by Demo Day, the final event where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to an audience consisting of mentors, partners and investors. Official Investor Communication - Closing of SBC Bold Action Tranche I

Dear shareholder,

I hope all is well with you.

First and foremost, as you might recall, the targeted closing date of SBC Bold Action Tranche I was set for May 1st, 2022. It is with pride, pleasure, and gratitude to you and all the other investors that I’d like to share that we successfully closed the tranche according to the timeline.

Secondly, I’d like to thank you again on behalf of the whole Startupbootcamp team for your trust, your participation, and your partnership. I’m looking forward to working together with you over the coming years!

Last but not least, I’d like to share some practical information with you:

1) Yesterday afternoon, the notarial deed and administrative work around the closing were finalized. The depositary receipts that represent your stake in SBC Bold Action have been issued and are now registered in your name. As of January 1st, 2023 - after closing the 3rd tranche - these receipts will be tradeable on the Nx’change platform.

2) We will be starting the scouting process for the 1st cohort next Monday, this means that later this year the first 10 startups will already be added to the SBC Bold Action portfolio. You'll receive more updates about this in the coming weeks.

3) Aside from starting with the scouting- & selection process, we're also starting the funding process for the 2nd tranche of SBC Bold Action. We’ll keep you posted on the progress and status of this cycle as we go. Naturally, if you know someone that you think would be a good addition to our investment group don’t hesitate to connect them to us. We’d be happy to explore and see if there’s a fit.
